The guy at the front desk was very friendly and funny, we got there really late in the night and he was very accommodating. The housekeeper was very sweet as well. Iowa City had treated us very unpleasant up until this point so I just wanted to say thank you and that I really appreciated it. Keep it up!
I'm constantly traveling and staying at different cheap motels every night, but I have to admit this one was one of my favorites. It's really easy and fast to get to from I-80. You can drive right up to the door to your room. Pet friendly. It's right next door to a Kum & Go gas station. And there's a young lady tiara that works the front desk late at night who is absolutely wonderful. I'd definitely stay there again.
We did not have a prior reservation. Looked into a couple of their rooms with the kind receptionist. Liked it and stayed there over night. The room was cozy and warm. It was clean and odor free. Great value for the price.
Yeah, it's a fine place. It's a cheap motel, do funny expect the Ritz. But it was clean and seemed to be maintained fine. It was a little noisy, but that's not their fault. Yeah. It's fine.
Stopped here July 6, 2015 in the middle of a very long road trip. Room was very nice!. Clean, comfortable beds. Can't beat the price. Would stay there again, and definitely recommend it.

Older, what used to be called a motor lodge. Recently, last summer, did some renovating. All rooms had carpet ripped out and they installed vinyl flooring that looks like wood. Repainted, put new mattresses in double bed rooms. Also repainted the outside of the buildings. Rooms that needed them got new microwaves, fridges and tv's.
The nite attended was wonderful, he was very helpful. The room was good, even had a microwave and refrigerator in the room, beds weren't to bad, pretty comfy. My only complaint is it smelled like cigarette smoke pretty bad, as a non smoker it was kinds offensive.
Very clean rooms! And an unbeatable price! I stayed at Super 7 several times when I first moved to the area for a job. The rooms are basic but the TVs are new and everything is clean. Somewhat annoyingly, the insist on cleaning the rooms every day. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem but I was traveling with my laptop and personal papers that I didn't want to leave in the room. Overall, though, great place for a great price.
I wasn't expecting much from the price, just a clean and safe place to sleep and that's what I got. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and I felt safe as a solo female traveler. The only thing that was amiss in my room was the stand on which the refrigerator sat, it seemed to be broken and the fridge was tilted backwards, but I had a good fridge and a microwave, so no complants. For the price, it is good.
